Few episodes of SVT's house renovation program “Husdrömmar” have been discussed as much as the one that features the home of architect Henrik Schulz and his girlfriend Lina. Gert Wingårdh himself exclaimed "Finally!" at the end of the program — it was seen as the first time any of the families built a fully-realized archetype of a modern house that executed its vision according to the rules of the art.
A bespoke wood kitchen built for Villa Clara, named after the couple's daughter. The warm wood kitchen features oak frames, a worktop in Norrvange limestone, and myriad beautiful details in this magnificent house among the treetops.
The beautifully stained kitchen doors match both the oak parquet and the cedar ceiling. Each element is gently broken by the natural color scheme of the stone.
The nearly five-meter long kitchen island becomes a central point in the house.
Light filters beautifully through the curtains to beautifully illuminate the Gotland Norrvange limestone on the kitchen island. The sculptural faucet in copper from Vola stands out like a jeweled centerpiece in the kitchen.

The Norrvange limestone comes from Gotland. It was chosen partially because of its beautiful color and pattern but also because it was manufactured locally in Sweden and did not need to be transported very far.
